Rubia Ota is the co-founder of Lux and Beyond. With a Bachelor's degree in Literature, she discovered her passion for travel after moving to Japan, where she transitioned into the tourism industry. Over the past 15 years, she has specialized in creating unique cultural experiences, guiding visitors through Japan’s rich traditions, cuisine, and landscapes.
Her deep knowledge, warmth, and storytelling skills make every journey memorable. Passionate about connecting people and cultures, she continues to find joy in crafting immersive, meaningful adventures that inspire travelers from around the world.
Carina Poliana is the co-founder of Lux and Beyond and an experienced MICE Event Coordinator and Operations Professional with extensive expertise in planning and executing corporate events, incentive tours, and tailored travel experiences. Skilled in end-to-end event management—including contract negotiations, budgeting, and vendor coordination—she ensures seamless execution and exceptional client satisfaction. Recognized for her strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, she collaborates effectively with clients, stakeholders, and teams. Passionate about travel and events, she thrives on designing creative, personalized experiences that inspire and leave lasting impressions around the world.
